Resources

An inspired new project will need staff - for success,  some of these will need to be able to share the vision of the founders of the project.

Also needed will be the material resources of a conventional project. This means finding premises, equipment and and the funding that may be needed. Most if not all of these will be in the hands of conventional people with the current materialistic outlook - so we need to start by looking at this Paradigm of  Materialism.

MATERIALISM

Essentially this is the view that only what can be accessed with the physical senses – can be seen, weighed and counted - is real.  Anything the relies on access to an ‘unreal’ world –‘ higher consciousness’ or ‘spiritual’ is unreal, a delusion, and best to be ignored.

Wikipedia gives us he following:

Materialism is a form of philosophical monism which holds that matter is the fundamental substance in nature, and that all things, including mental states and consciousness, are results of material interactions. According to philosophical materialism, mind and consciousness are by-products or epiphenomena of material processes (e.g. the biochemistry of the human brain and nervous system) without which they cannot exist. This concept directly contrasts with idealism, where mind and consciousness are first-order realities to which matter is subject and material interactions are secondary.

It is closely related to physicalism—the view that all that exists is ultimately physical.

Philosophical physicalism has evolved from materialism with the theories of the physical sciences to incorporate more sophisticated notions of physicality than mere ordinary matter Scientism is an ideology that promotes science as the only objective means by which society should determine normative and epistemological values. The term scientism is generally used critically, pointing to the cosmetic application of science in unwarranted situations not amenable to application of the scientific method or similar scientific standards.

This is a ‘belief’, or particular mind set that denies the validity of all inspiration that we might receive through Intuition.

So in complete contradiction of the understanding we found in Intuition.

As a  result of this practical material approach,  the providers of resources want to see clear business plans with details of services to be delivered, staff and equipment needed, cash forecasts okay and clearly defined timing for eventual profitability and sustainability to be achieved.

This need is immediately in conflict with the ideas of our Initiator

But these two views are not ‘either - or’  – we need to fluency in both these apparently opposing approaches to reality.

When we set out to achieve anything worthwhile, we need to be inspired – but we also need to be fluent and confident with the material skills that are essential if we are to bring our inspired vision into material reality.

This where the skills of the Enabler come in
